Training the mind on HOW to think rather than WHAT to think.

Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. (Proverbs 9:9)

Overview

The Logic School stage at Trinity Academy, spanning 7th through 9th grade, is an integral part of our classical model of education. At this stage, students transition from the foundation laid in Grammar School to a deeper level of critical thinking and reasoning. The focus shifts from mere memorization to understanding the relationships between various subjects and ideas.

Highlights of Logic School Education:

  • Critical Thinking: Students are taught the art of reasoning and logical analysis. They learn to identify connections between different subjects, analyze arguments, and engage in thoughtful discussions.
  • Classical Languages: In addition to their native language, students begin studying classical languages such as Latin, which further enhances their understanding of language structure and etymology.
  • Well-rounded Development: Our curriculum includes a diverse range of subjects, including advanced mathematics, literature, history, and sciences, enabling students to develop a holistic understanding of the world.
